The Subutex Clinic is located at the south end of the South Austin Community Health Center (SANCHC). This treatment center was opened in 1994 and is run by a community-based drug and alcohol treatment organization. This facility offers comprehensive services to individuals and families who are struggling with substance abuse and addictions. It is staffed with certified professionals and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and programs. It offers inpatient drug and alcohol detoxification services and supports outpatient programs. The clinic offers comprehensive substance abuse and alcohol rehabilitation, comprehensive residential and outpatient treatment programs and is dedicated to teaching its patients about substance abuse and alcoholism treatment.

The Subutex clinic also provides comprehensive education and information to its clients, including health risks and consequences of substance abuse, proper care of the body, detoxification process, medications used and side effects of therapy and programs. Subutex clinic also provides educational support for clients during their recovery and rehabilitation process. The clinic offers individual and family counseling sessions and provides support groups in order to encourage family members to work on their individual needs and problems. It is also a place to meet with a trained addiction counselor for confidential treatment. The Counselor will offer you valuable information about the treatment process and your particular case. The counselors will help you prepare for the outpatient detoxification process and assist you throughout the process. The Counselors will provide educational support, information, resources and referrals to local, state and federal addiction treatment programs.

The Subutex clinic is open seven days a week, but the hours are not scheduled until the last Wednesday of each month from 8am to 3pm. It is not accessible to residents of Travis County and residents living out of Travis County may not be able to access the program. The facility is not for children and adults of any age, but for persons who are at least 18 years old with a valid government issued identification card.
