If you suffer from heroin or opiate addiction, then finding a Suboxone Clinic near you can be very beneficial for your recovery. There are some reasons why you shouldn’t go to a Suboxone clinic to get help to overcome your addiction, though. In most Indiana treatment facilities, while there may be many different options to treat heroin or opiate addiction, Methadone is often a highly effective medication used in conjunction with other therapies to treat heroin and opiate addiction. This is because Methadone works very well with other types of treatment such as the Suboxone program.

Unfortunately, there are some clinics that do not accept Methadone, but instead offer a variety of different medications and treatments to help people kick the habit, as well as for pain management. These clinics may also offer a host of different options for detoxification and withdrawal from the various drugs, but are less likely to be very helpful if you are trying to kick the habit through Methadone. Many clinics in this type of drug rehab center will require patients to use Methadone before they will start to detox on their own and receive a prescription for a long-term Suboxone program, though. This is because Methadone can often help to reduce withdrawal symptoms in a short period of time, but cannot prevent withdrawal completely.

For these reasons, it is better to find a clinic that accepts Methadone in addition to other types of treatment for heroin and opiate addiction. Many clinics in this type of treatment center will also offer a complete program to help a person kick their heroin or opiate addiction, even if they are currently using Methadone. These clinics may include outpatient detox programs as well as programs that are designed specifically to help those who are addicted to prescription drugs kick the habit. These programs may also offer education on the risks of long-term dependency on drugs. The goal of this type of program is to give a patient the chance to learn how to kick the habit, without relying solely on Methadone. to provide the necessary support to avoid an increased dependency on heroin and opiate drugs in the future.
