Proudly serving the rural Medford, Oregon area, Suboxone Clinic offers adults suffering from addiction the chance to overcome heroin, oxycodone, meth, and many other drugs from a safe, supportive environment. Located in the small town of Medford, Oregon, the clinic is run by volunteers with an all-volunteer staff, so no financial investment or tax dollars are used to support the program. For those patients who do have medical insurance, the Clinic will work with their insurance provider to set up a discount or co-pay plan for their medications, which may provide some financial help as well. The Clinic accepts most Medicare and Medicaid plans, as well as private insurance, though it does not accept Medicaid unless it is expanded.

As with all medical services provided at Suboxone Clinics, a medical history is always a good way to determine if a patient is likely to benefit from the treatment process, and to ensure that any patients who do seek treatment have an accurate assessment of their medical needs. It is important to also see if a patient is eligible for coverage under their current health plan, as the cost of Suboxone treatment can be substantial. If a patient is eligible, they will be provided with a complete list of medications and procedures that they will require, including the dosage and length of time for which the medication will be prescribed. Once the medications have been ordered, patients are given instructions on how to take them and how to use them in order to achieve the best results from treatment. As part of the program, patients are educated about their medications, which helps them understand the implications of taking off their medication at a later time.

In addition to the medication and clinic services offered at Suboxone Clinics, patients can be referred to the local Substance Abuse Services Administration (SAMHSA) for more information and education regarding treatment options. SAMHSA offers programs and materials, such as: “The National Drug Treatment Center,” “Substance Abuse Treatment Guide,” and “Substance Abuse: Know Your Options,” as well as “Know Your State’s Laws” to help educate patients about their state’s laws about Suboxone treatment. Patients are also given free referrals to local treatment facilities and outreach services. Many of these resources are located close to Suboxone Clinics, allowing patients to get the assistance they need as soon as possible. If you are looking for a treatment program that is compassionate and comprehensive, consider visiting the Suboxone Clinic.
