As one of the largest treatment centers in Oregon, the Suboxone Clinic offers a safe and effective way to treat those suffering from addiction to drugs such as OxyContin, heroin, meth, and cocaine. Located in the city of Medford, the clinic was founded in 1991 and is known for its dedication to helping addicts overcome addiction to these addictive substances. Located on the campus of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, the clinic offers medical services to those suffering from drug addiction and can provide both detoxification and outpatient programs. A variety of medical professionals, counselors, and support groups work hand-in-hand with patients and their families to help them recover.

Located within the Clinic’s facility is the Suboxone Sublingual Substitute. This is a small device that is inserted under the tongue, where it is absorbed by the body quickly, and safely. Suboxone also works to help those with other kinds of addictions, such as alcohol and tobacco use. Suboxone clinics have a long-standing relationship with the FDA and are approved by them to offer this kind of treatment to people who are addicted to drugs. The Suboxone Clinic also offers assistance with getting insurance companies to cover Suboxone, as well as providing information on how to get treatment through the clinic. Those who attend Suboxone clinics have a lower chance of relapsing when compared to those who do not. These clinics also work closely with their clients to create a treatment plan that will work best for them.

Those who suffer from drug addictions are encouraged to contact the Suboxone Clinic if they are looking to join a program that helps them get off of drugs and stay off of drugs. The Clinic has several options, depending on the needs of the individual. With detoxification programs, a patient will be taken off of all medications for a time period, during which time they will be monitored by staff members. A doctor will evaluate the person and decide how much medication is appropriate for the patient. Once the medication is taken away, the patient will then be treated to combat cravings so they do not have to use drugs again. Other options include outpatient programs, which can provide patients with counseling and therapy and group therapy sessions to help patients cope with their addiction. The Suboxone Clinic also has an extended care unit that gives patients a place to stay for as long as they need while they recover.
